Dangerous goods & ADR
Under the responsibility of the company manager, our dangerous goods officers (in accordance with §3 GbV and 1.8.3 ADR) essentially take on the task of looking for ways and means within the scope of the company's relevant activities and initiating measures that facilitate the performance of these activities in compliance with the applicable regulations and under optimum safety conditions (compliance).
The complete range of tasks of the Dangerous Goods Officer can be found in § 8 GbV in conjunction with 1.8.3.3 ADR.
With the publication of the ADR 2017, the new hazard label 9A (especially for lithium batteries) was included in the ADR. A transitional period allowed the "old" labeling (label 9) until 31.12.2018. Since 01.01.2019, packages must be marked exclusively with the label 9A.
