Remediation of fire & building pollutants
A suitable expert coordinator must be appointed in accordance with DGUV 101-004 (formerly BGR 128 6A+B) TRGS 521 and TRGS 524 for work to clean up fire damage, indoor mold and building pollutants. The clean-up of fire, mold or building pollutants always involves highly hazardous work. Occupational health and safety must therefore be given very high priority.
TRGS 517 and TRGS 519 also apply to asbestos work. Inhaling asbestos is fatal, not immediately, but after several years.
What can we do?
We advise, plan and inspect all necessary occupational health and safety-related activities for demolition, renovation and maintenance work as an occupational health and safety coordinator (A+S coordinator) or as an asbestos coordinator (ASI coordinator).
