SCC/SCP Consulting
In the EU industry, especially in power plants and the chemical industry, external companies, known as contractors, are regularly employed. These external companies must be certified according to SCC/SCP. Their employees deployed on-site must also be certified individuals according to SCC Document 016, 017, or 018.
Currently, a high level of safety according to the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) management system is also demanded in:
- Offshore projects,
- Wind farm projects, and
- Construction projects in nature conservation areas.
Would you like to enhance your competitiveness? We enhance your legal certainty by organizing and implementing an HSE management system. This enables you to participate in tenders that require SCC/SCP.
This is composed of two scopes:
- Scope I: Contractors/Manufacturing Industry (SCC)
- Scope II: Personnel Service Providers (SCP)
In SCC certification, three certificates are essentially distinguished:
- SCC* (limited certificate): This management system applies to companies with fewer than 35 employees that do not use subcontractors.
- SCC** (unlimited certificate): This management system applies to companies with more than 35 employees or fewer employees but working with subcontractors.
- SCCP (Petrochemical): Since special safety requirements are imposed in petrochemicals, this scope is tailored to the requirements of the chemical industry.
For certification, an accredited SCC certifier is involved, who reviews all SCC-relevant documentation and processes in the company for their functionality.
The certificate is valid for 3 years and is reviewed annually.
