The creation of explosion protection documents can be larger or smaller depending on the system (image on the right: example of a large system).
The explosion protection document must be kept up to date. It must be created before commissioning.
According to the new GefStoffV, it is part of the risk assessment. Hazardous explosive mixtures must be specially identified (§ 6 Para. 9 GefStoffV).
It must be drawn up in accordance with the requirements of § 6 GefStoffV and is mandatory for the operator of the system.
All further safety measures and instructions will take place on this basis - therefore no mistakes must be made here.
