Fire Protection Officer
DGUV Information 205-003 makes this clear:
Employers and contractors are responsible for achieving the protection targets in the company.
You should appoint a fire safety officer to advise you on setting up the necessary fire safety organization and the various tasks associated with it.
The following legal bases apply:
- Occupational Health and Safety Act (ArbSchG): §10 para. 2 „First aid and other emergency measures
- Principles of prevention" (DGUV Regulation 1) § 22 Para. 2 „Emergency measures"
- ASR A2.2 „Measures against fires" Section 6.2

We support you in complying with these requirements.
With our external fire safety officers, you are on the safe side.
Our fire safety officers are the central point of contact for all fire safety issues in the company, providing advice, support and coordination in accordance with legal requirements.
The following important measures are among their main tasks:
- Training of fire safety assistants and evacuation assistants incl. fire extinguishing
- Creating/updating fire safety regulations (parts A, B, C)
- Participation in the assessment of fire hazards at workplaces
- Creating an emergency organization for operational safety
- Carrying out fire safety inspections
- Changes to structural installations
- Cooperation with authorities, fire department and insurers
- Updating escape and rescue plans
- Updating alarm, fire department and evacuation plans
- Organizing and monitoring fire safety inspections in the company
- Recording deficiencies and making suggestions for improving fire safety
- Training staff on fire hazards and possible risks
