Fire Safety Assistant Training
At least 5% of the workforce should be fire safety assistants (in accordance with ASR A2.2, Para. 6.2), and the 5% should also be ensured in the event of employee illness or vacation.
In addition to the theoretical part, the content of the fire safety assistant training also includes practical exercises in handling the company's fire extinguishing equipment.
The basics here are:

Practice:
- Handling and function of the trigger mechanisms of fire extinguishing equipment
- Recognize extinguishing tactics and own limits in firefighting
- Realistic exercise with fire extinguishing equipment
- Mode of operation and performance of fire extinguishing equipment
- Company-specific features (e.g. electrical systems, metal fires, grease fires)
- Familiarization with the operational area of responsibility
